2.0L 94-97 Probe/626 Cylinder head???
 

my question is will this work on a 3rd gen P5 engine. Or will it need modifications. I would like to pick up the head and do some work to it before putting it on the car. Please respond asap as I don't want to lose the opportunity to purchase this.

The older 2.0L head has a distributor drive off the exhaust cam. If you can figure out a way to plug the hole, then it will bolt up. It won't look exactly the same but functions the same. Also, some of the bolt holes may or may not be on the older head. I have yet to see someone put these side by side and take a picture though. The earlier 626/Probe heads are very common though so it shouldn't be hard to find one for cheap.

It will work and if you look on your current head there should be a plug in it for where the disty used to go i know this is the case on my 1.8L head which shoudl be the same as yours.
