1.8L motor mounts
 

been searching several Protege boards this afternoon but haven't found a definitive answer.

what mounts will fit a 1999 1.8L sedan other than stock ones?

AWR - too much vibration
Sport20 - can't order from Mazda Motorsports
MSP - does it fit 1.8L engines?
do-it-yourself - pain in the ass and i only have one car

P.S. i'm looking for the passenger and front mounts.

rr racing and corksport both should have some inserts out very soon.

The MSP motor mounts for the 2.0 Turbo will not fit.
If you call AWR, they may be able to fix you up with a softer rubber/plastic than their standard mounts.
The fwd engine mount and #3 (passenger side) mount are easy to access- and would be OK for a DIY weekend project- I think people fill them will Silicone Caulk. Of course, you can't drive your car without them--- maybe you could pick up a set from a Junkyard and modify them.

Other than that- wait for the inserts. However, the inserts may be too much vibration for you to handle.
