!0W-30 or 5W30 for cold weather

The last time I had my oil changed I asked for 5W-30 and the goofs put 10W in on accident. I've heard that you don't want 10W in the cold and it's certainly cold here(low's in the teens). Do I need to get it out of there? I'm running Mobile 1. Thanks ahead of time for you help.

Yeah you will be fine......

If you check your manual it will show that 10W-30 protects fine down to some really low temperature. 5W just goes even lower. I have heard that the only advantage is an almost unnoticable gas mileage increase with 5W but it breaks down easier in hotter weather.

5w is just easier to start in cold weather cause the oil is thinner. Once running it's pretty much all the same. 10w is a little thicker but not by much. I tried the 0w50 synthetic and for the extra $4 bucks a liter didn't notice too much of a difference. In theory it should be the best of both worlds.
