suspension noob

Ok so i got my body kit put on finnaly... and well i still have the stock 13's (insurance gave me money for a enw bumper so i just bought the kit all at one time and had it installed) so my car sits about as low as i can get... now i plan on getting 16" rims as soon as possible but after rims i know nothing about suspension and what not... I really cant afford to have it be low to the ground because of where i live.... so when i get the rims it'll be higher upa dn tahts fine but i still want it to handle good.. so what do i need shocks/struts/springs/coilovers/strut bar.... i dont even think i know waht half of those mean or if they are the same thing or not so any help would be gratefull

If you want good handling, you obviously will need new struts and lowering springs. As long as you do not buy a super wide tire, or super wide off-sets, the tires will not rub. As for the springs, there are many to choose from, like H&R that will drop 1.3" front and rear, and Intrax that will drop 1.7"/1.8" front/rear. As for struts, you can get OEM replacement from KYB - GR-2s, or you can shell out lots of money for adjustable Mazdaspeed struts ($180 a piece). Myself, I just lowered my car with H&R ($200) and I also replaced all four sturts with KYB GR-2s ($200 for 4). Goodluck, man. Put up some pics so we can see the kit. Later.
