Coil-overs...yes or no?

I've been debating a drop for a while. Is a used(about 1K miles) set of coilovers worth $130 inc. shipping or should I spend 200 and get a set of springs? Does the ride really suck that bad? I was thinking that 130 was a good deal until I read that coilovers blow. What do you guys think go or no?

I was thinking about the same thing... I was debating between coilovers and springs also. But it all depends... Do the coilovers come with their own strut? or are they just a cheap "sleeve type"? If they are just the cheap ones I would suggest not gettin them, from what I hear, Since they are adjustable... (which is awesome) They compact the spring... Which My guess would change the spring rate, be harder on ur oem struts, and blow ur shocks... and I hear that the ride is GARBAGE... so no road head, or no girls in your car at all for that matter... Personally I would go for springs... Unless you wanna cough up $850+ for REAL Coilovers... If I am wrong with any of this information, please let me know yall...
