Reverse Lights Protege 1998
 

I have check all the wires and the fuse box but i cannot get my reverse lights to work. Someone mentioned it could be a switch on the transmission case.

Also my engine light has been on for awhile and no one can figure out the problem. I have tried the gas cap and it went off for awhile. now it comes and goes but mainly it's on.

Any suggestions.

I have the same problem, engine light on and noone knows why...car runs fine, has been for over 6 months.

did you try the gas cap thing?

no what do u have to do?...just tighten it? cause I have gotten gas in my car and put the cap back on tightly would have gotten rid of it but it didn't

I suggest going to Autozone or AdvanceAutoParts and have them scan your car (Or just buy the OBDII scan tool and do it yourself). They can scan it for free.

Come back to the forum and let us know what code you're having. From there the people on the forum will have a better chance of fixing your problem.
