Idling problems

when my car is in neutral (5 speed) and i have my foot on the brake i have idle problems where it feels it is about to stall out, if i push in the clutch the problem goes away. Anyone know what it could be?

posibly the timing is too slow/low? leak in the tubes going from the valve cover to the intake?
