The strut bar will fit. As for the filter/adapter, you can buy a filter at any auto store, and you do NOT need the adapter.

95 protege does not need an intake adapter

Sorry about the adapter, sometimes when I type I am more likely to miss the whole word then spell the word wrong.

thanks a lot for the reply you guys :)

btw, i have read almost every posts there are about intake and such.

But none of them are similar to mine.

order the strut bar from procarparts.com. they sent me the only one i ever got the fit well....dont get the one with the holes drilled in it though, im unsure about that one. also sometimes they try to send you one that has short arms where the bar hookes to the sturt mounts...it will be slightly too short. if that happens ship it back and ask for one with the longer arms...

actually, come to think of it. go ahead and shell out the money for the mazdaspeed strutbar. I regret not getting it first... check www.corksport.com

that's pretty expensive :(

i'll look into it though.

thanks

I'm fairly new to this whole thing and I wanted to know what exactly does a strut bar do?

dstormz March-25th-2003 06:48 AM

Str8Grindin, see this post for further explaination: http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sho...threadid=21060 :)

i don't really know if it helps though.
