Aftermarket parts?

Hi,

I am finding that it is almost impossible to find aftermarket parts for this generation protege. I have a 95 LX, but it is pretty much rigged with painted taillights and stuff, where can i find aftermarket taillights for this generation car?

But in order for those to look decent, you need a middle piece from 97-98 model. I am sure you can find one at the junk yard.

I mean, come on. They already have a online database of all their stuff, but you cannot get a full listing of parts available for your year/make whatever. What if I could use a part from a 95? I would never know that part would be in stock unless I specifically searched for it. Stupid.

www.corksport.com can get you both the JDM (red/white) outer pieices and the 97-98 center piece. Just call them or email them. The 95 motor is the same as the 90-94 motor so there is TONS of motor things you can do. Also, you wouldnt FIBRGLASS the trunk pannel. You would either a) just paint it the colour of your car or b) have METAL welded in as fibreglass would break everytime you hit a bump. Trust me, I do these kind of things on civics and shit...

holy crap thanks a lot, i've been trying to find one for a while now. that will look so sweet

KdawgOne : The 90-94 Protege as far as i know came in 1.8L DOHC and SOHC there was no 1.5L in those cars and i believe the smallest after that was the 1.6L So like we said there are almost no parts. All parts have to be custom made. There is a turbo and manifold that might be done by Barely legal transports and you can get turbo for any engine but that's about it right now.
