Thanks a lot Bruce

Hi there. I know it has been quite sometime since I have been online or on this site. I have been away for a long time. Anyhow thank you for your website. I like it a lot. I am in the middle of getting my 96 Protege running great numbers. I just placed an order for a J-spec engine for my car. I have some big plans for it within the next 6 months. I need to get ready for Hot Import Nights which will be in Orlando in October. The engine is just the first of many things that will be brought to my car. Right now all I have is just an intake and exhaust(which will be switched out when the engine arrives), Intrax Lowering springs, and a 1300 watt Pioneer Stereo System. I wanted to ask you a question or two. Do you know where I can get an RX7 fuel pump at a good price. I need it brand new. Where can I get the J-spec clear corners? Do you know where I can get a Sparco Intercooler that will fit my model protege. Also do you know of any places that I could check out to upgrade a turbo system. Well I have to get going right now. I haven't taken any new photos of my car yet. The photos I do have are about 3 or 4 months old. This summer coming up I will be taking a lot of pictures of my car and everything that goes into it so everyone can see what a second generation protege can look like after it finished being modified. Not to mention how fast a second generation protege can be once it's modified. I would like to keep in touch and sometime in the near future send you pics to post on your website. Once again it's a wonderful website and hope to keep in touch. Bye for now.

What J-spec engine did you order? a BPT??

You can get a new RX7 fuel pump from www.mazdadiscountparts.com

Search the forum for user 'turboge'...he can hook you up with all sorts of turbo stuff

Sounds like you got a fun project goin....

Thanks Protojay

Thanks a lot for the info. I am searching right now for an RX7 fuel pump that is inexpensive. So I will check that website out you gave me. Yes I ordered the BPT GTX J-Spec engine. I bought the car originally just for school and work. Then I had friends that started getting hondas and acuras and just flying by on the roads. I was getting sick and tired of it. That is when I started to do some research on different engines that could fit in my car. That is when I found the BPT GTX. I was trying to get the BPT GTR but that engine is very very rare to find. The people told me that they wouldn't be able to give me an estimate time of arrival of the engine. So I decided to go with the one below it but I have some plans for it. I'm just trying to help this generation Protege in the Hi- Performance so it can start killing some hondas and acuras out there. Don't worry I will be posting new pics of my car and engine and everything that I get put in it within the next couple of months. Around September time the color of my car will be totally different with airbrush done to it. I have a couple of people that are interested in doing that for me. Hopefully if everything goes alright with the engine swapping I should have my Hi-Performance done by June or July. Well I got to get going but keep in touch. Thanks again for the info.
