Vibration in Shifter

Hey, i was wondering if anyone seems to think that the shifter vibrates alot.
Kinda like when u are at a traffic light and you have your hand on the shifter, it almost goes numb with the vibration. I asked mazda they said that my timing could be off a bit, but it would be 30 min to check and find out.. So, i thought i would ask first.

Also, when i give it a little gas, the vibration isn't there. HELP!
Maybe it's normal, the mecanics seem to think so! I know it's not a lexus, but that vibration can't be normal. Thanx.

Shifter vibration is normal. How much depends. If might be an indication of a rough idle or motor mounts that might be going bad. If it is fine in the rest of the rev range I would not worry about.

Ok, it's not horrible, u don't feel it in the steering wheel or anything. But just the shifter. Thanx..
