First, you need your owners manual, in which it will tell you how big the gap is. Your gap tool should be either metric or standard, an since the car is Japanese you will need to use the metric side. You use by sliding the tool in the spark plug's gap, and the measure will read you a result. If it too small, force the gap to slide further (does not require a lot of power so be careful) until the gap is right. If it is too big, you will need to SLIGHTLY tap it on a hard surface. If you tap it too hard, the spark will not work properly.
