Reverse Switch
 

'98 Protege - 1.5L
I replaced the reverse switch on my manual tranny yesterday. Now it goes into reverse with difficulty. Before I replaced the switch it went in reverse real easy.
I am thinking I missed something in the process. Is there any specific preparation needed before swapping the switch? Does it need to be in/out reverse while swapping it? Something is not right.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
