Essentialspeed.com is looking to do a production turbo kit for our car if there is enough interest. This kit will come with EVERYTHING you need to do the install.

Here is a clipet of a recent email from Kevin the owner:
(These prices are based on a group buy of 5 kits, although, he is looking to do a kit ( a diferent discounted price) for at least one car)
> set up a group buy for 5 + kits
> for a group buy i could supply the kits ;
> -stage1
> non intercooled
(4-6psi)............................................. .$2500.00 us funds,plus
shipping
> -stage2;
> intercooled 7-10
psi............................................... .........$3100.00 us
> funds, plus shipping
>
> -stage 3 ????

If you have ANY questions, please feel free to email Kevin at info@essentialspeed.com.

This will become a PRODUCTION kit meaning ANYONE, at ANYTIME in the future will be able to buy this complete kit (Much like a package that you woul buy from Jackson Racing)
We are looking for a donor car right now to go in for october/november.

ES already has a production kit available for the thirdgen 2.0L as well as an upgrade kit for the Mazdaspeeds...

Email Kevin and lets get this kit going. If there is enuff interest, my car will become the donor 'guiena-pig' car!

interesting, i guess somebody DOES care about all the 1.5's out there. i'd prolly buy one for ~$3000 if it comes with a decent intercooler, but fuel delivery is a serious problem. the fuel pump, lines and injectors are all little, i doubt any of them can handle 150hp.

actually the kit is for the 1.8.

Patrick, this is Chris from Corksport. i just got a 95 protege Lx yesterday. and take a guess what its geting swaped into it:D

It is cheaper just to buy a 16g turbo kit from a 95-99 eclipse and have the piping and manifolds made, for that matter even a single turbo kit for a 93-97 supra is cheaper

be careful, the car was made to handle 100 horse power, so dont fuck it up too much or your car will be in the shop for sure
