there is nothing even close to anything that resemble's that. Straight down from the air box as you show is part of the tranny.

hmmmm... theres a hose that kinda runs up above it to the
valve connected to the radiator. Do you think it might be leaking?

bubbashane July-15th-2003 02:55 PM

it doesnt run hot or anything it actually stays a little under
the half way mark. Its not anything serious is it?

I think that is a hole for the bracket for the wiring harness I don't think it has a bolt in it ( it is held by 2 6mm bolts) and shouldn't be a problem.

bubbashane July-15th-2003 03:17 PM

what about the leak though?
Do you think that its a problem?
Or do you think it'll be ok for now?

If it is coolant it could be from the thermostat housing gasket or where the upper radiator hose joins the thermostat sometimes builds up with corrosion and dirt and will leak. Also make sure the steel coolant line the runs under the exhaust manifold and around the cyl head for the heater core is not rusted on the frt driver's side of the head. Thay are the most common places for coolant leaks on that part.
