Just reordered my Ractive Intake

Ok I just reordered my Ractive intake and it is running me 95.00 (rounded up) when you pay through paypal. This was through www.autotoys.com , so for those with the 95 1.5 who wanted to get one , you can use paypal to pay wich is pretty cool

Thanx for the info Bruce. I still gotta hook that up, this month hopefully. Did they say how long it would take to get there? Any difference as far as East Coast or West Coast U.S. shipping/handling?

Ractive intake

ok

i have 1.8l engine. i was wondering if the ractive intake would fit 98 protege es. i check autotoyz the only have a kit for protege 88+ so i don't know if that what i need.

Bruce95fmla April-22nd-2002 11:12 PM

i don't think it would work with a 1.8 , I am not familiar with the intake system in there , take a pic of under you intake system and post it , or email it to me in its full size

Hi, Bruce. Is this the same intake you suggested for me a while back for my '97 DX? Because if it is, I was seriously thinking of getting it. I have already got my clear corner lenses, and I should get my strut bar today, and by the end of the week I will have it on. Though, let me know. Thanks.

Bruce95fmla April-23rd-2002 10:18 AM

Yes , I do believe so , the intake is a very nice intake , and I must say show quality to ... if you want to you can change the silicone adapters ,but that is up to you , if you order the intake make sure you get part number TOUCAN SF M9396A .
Just go to their site and type that in , in the search function , you have to make sure you get that one though, RACTIVE MAZDA 323 1.5 / 16.L 1993-1996 , is the tittle of the item also
Bruce
I will take pics of the intake, but I did not put it together yet

Bruce,
I was just about to order my ractive intake, but i just cant seem to find where you got yours for so cheap. I tried autotoys.com and the didnt have the "RACTIVE MAZDA 323 1.5 / 1.6L 1993-1996" So i went to Nopi.com and theirs was $109. And now that i have seen that you got yours for $95 i dont even want to pay the $109+ shipping!! Help me out.

Ractive intake... INSTALLED! I got my ractive intake today, and I immidiately put it on. It looks great! It will even be better looking when I get the rest of my hoses to match my intake and powder coated valve cover. I am going to see how it runs for a little while, and if I like it, I will keep it on. If I dont like it, I think i might get the custom pipe I made powder coated to match my valve cover. The next thing I need to do is by a digi cam so I can show off all my crap!!

Well that last post was before I actually tried the damn thing out. Ok, so i finish putting the intake on and I go inside so i can take a shower and what not. I go back outside to test it out, and see how it feels and sounds. I go to crank the car up and it revs up to 2000 rpms and then drops to 250 rpms ans stalls. I cant figure out what the hell the problem is. All the hoses are connected, but it just wont stay running. Does anybody have ANY idea as to what in the hell is going on? HELP!!!
