High compression pistons
 

Because the 1.8L motor and the miata motor are internally similer
pistons from either one will fit eachother

does anyone know of any brands that has high compression pistons for the miata?

or any other internal engine parts?

i was thinking of doin a motor swap, but i still dunno if its worth it...
i think im going to continue with my plan to build an autocrosser for now

the 1.5L keeps me in a lower class

yeah

over here, there is a big list of cars, and similar cars are put in classes together

the 1.5L protege and 1.6L ones are in the same class

and the 1.8L ones are up one or two classes

im going to my first autocross on july 13th, so ill let u know how that goes

im not really sure what to expect

is it difficult?
is the competition tight?

whats the fastest speed u hit during an autocross?
and how many times do u get to go around?
