I think an older V-6 from MX-3 will. I have seen the engine bay of a V-6 MX-3 and it is more tight then Jenna Jameson before the porn star years. I aslo read a cool article in one of my older Road&Tracks where Mazda actually thought of putting V-6 into Miata. And they had lots a cool pictures and all. If you need more info on that I would be more then glad to let you know.

No Help

I ran MANY searches and checked the FAQ and found nothing about what engines are interchangeable. I have a 1.5l and want something else. If, I am going to spend $2500 on a new engine I would like to know what all is available before I spend that.
Thank you for any help.
:)

1.8L from the 95-98 es protege 2nd gen
1.8L Bp GTX and GTR engines , from 1st gen protege's and 323's ,, although I don't know if wiring harnes may work ,,,
I know a guy that put a 2.5L v6 in his 1st gen Protege, but that took a lot of custom work and that car hauls ass

Miller?

Will a Miller-cycle engine that is used in the Millinea work? Who would I need to ask to see what mods would need to be done to make it fit?
