Distributor cap replacement
First, I am not much of a mechanic. I just want to replace the distributor cap and/or rotor on my 98 Protege. I have a pretty good idea of how to replace the cap but just want to know if there is anything special I need to be aware of...anything unique to my year and model that might be an obstacle.
Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance. |
Not in particular. Both the cap and rotor only go on one way.
Just remember to replace the plug wires correctly. |
Thanks. I was able to replace both the cap and the rotor with no problem. Yet it seems like that wasn't my problem.
Gonna have to start a whole new "help me, I'm an idiot" post |
