Custom intake advice?

I have been thinking about making my own CAI for my 95 pro lx (1.5 liter). I have heard a lot of positive things about doing this project. I hav one question though. How am I supposed to make the nipples on the intake piping? Is this project a good idea? Oh, and another thing... What size piping would be best for my 1.5? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Hey I have an Intake Brand New that will mostlikly fit your protege. ITs a WEAPON-R With the Dragon Filter, Pipe and Filter are blue. You can convert it to CAI by placing a tube on the end of the filter and running the tub into your grill or under your car. Pretty easy. Im selling it $155.00 BRAND NEW, with shipping.. Shipping is $15.

Are you sure it will fit the 1.5? I thought it didnt fit. I dont want to buy it from you and then it not even come close to fitting.

LOOK , you can make a intake for way less that 155 ,, sorry to buss the bubble , but I just have to be honest ,, you can get a civic intake if you want to , It will have to be a short ram style and it will also have to be cut to fit , it will work fine , the check engine light wont come on , . and as for the air lines , well some custom work and you can have that taken care of ,,, ...
If you go to my site protosport and then look in the performance help section on the left you will see a how to make a custom intake section ,, there you will see some good advice on how to make those nipples for the intake tube , I would take more pics of my intake but it is snowing right now , and its cold:laugh:

That sounds like a good idea (making my own homemade one). But i have once concern, you said it might not work on all systems. Have you tried it on your pro?
