If the 95 and 96 are the same, it is 2.5. The BEST filter to get is a K&N RX-4010 but they are kinda pricey ($50 and up). I just took the old filter of my 00 Neon (barrel style, 2.5" inside, 6" outside, 6" long) and put it on in place of the airbox. A dirty Neon filter is better than the stock setup any day.

well, i finally did it! i just bought a ractive superflow filter and put it on my stock pipe. it wasn't hard at all and it works like a charm.

macdaddyslomo is right, Kia used to have ties with Mazda and that's why the 95-97 Sephia has the Mazda BP DOHC engine. In 98, Hyundai took over Kia and right now they are running it. As far as i know, THEY have ties with Mitsubishi.
