hi

i,m from Toa Baja i always go to Carolinas Race way park on jueves jejejej

Take out the intake manifold. Open her up, it's easier to loosen the bottom side. disasemble until you get to the seal/gasket with small stones (avoid grinding her beyond the gasket/seal) polish all the manifold tubes/pipes and the top as far as you can until everything looks like a mirror, the upper part has some caps (4 that look like coins) that are secured with a thin tube, take them out with the tube, seal the place where the tube was placed with a screw that won't stick out on the inside. Epoxy it on the outside so no air can go in. It's easy but it takes time.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to get to this in the spring. Do you remember approx. how long it took?? Should I set aside a day or more?? Did you need to get underneath the car?? I seem to remember there being a braket that bolted to the intake and the block(?) to support it. Would actually using metal polish itself, once the grinding is done help?? Is there a specific tool you used (dremel?) does said tool come with coarse and fine grinding stones?? Also, where did you notice most of the difference? Top end? Bottom end? Mid range? Also how did you clean it after you were finished? Solvents? just soap and water? Did you need to take the injectors out, or rather did you need to replace the o-rings on the injectors before you put them back in?

Thanks.
