2.2L? I never heard of it. The most common swap for our cars is a 1.8L engine. There is at least one person, whom you can find, as well as on www.clubprotege.com (there are more 2nd gen people there). Also, there two people that are swapping right now, and then will add turbo. Swaping anything else in our cars is VERY expensive, and extremely difficult. Even 1.8L swap is major pain in the ass. Check out the sites, do search. You will see.

what about the F2 engine?? i know that i have heard of one but i cant find the engine... that will fit

You are talking about the F2T...cool engine...went in the 1st gen MX-6 and probe...wont fit though...unless you did some SERIOUS fabrication...would take custom hood, motor mounts, transmission mounts, axles, entire wiring harness and the ecu from the probe or MX-6....plus you will only get 140hp/190lbft ..totally not worth it....it was a truck engine they slapped a turbo on,that's why it had so much torque,it was originally made for the B series..much easier and cheaper to buy and mod the MX-6/Probe or go for a BPT swap
