windshield wipers
 

hey, has anyone's windshield wipers ever not worked, because mine haven't been working lately or when they do i have to leave the wipers on for a couple minutes. I think it might be the motor. has anyone ever changed the wiper motor? is it hard to do? if someone could help me i'd be thankful

I don't know, but I had this problem with a Skoda I drove through Prague... had to sit and wait in the rain for the motor to warm up or something.... :)

I'm pretty sure the motor isn't too hard to spot.. think it's the big black cylinder shaped thing nead the windshield under the hood. Haven't looked around in a while so don't quote me on that :cool:

do your other accessories work, when the wipers are givin you problems? namely the heater/ac fan. if it slows down, or functions trangely it may be something else. I had a similiar problem, and it was beacause my wipers wjust weren't getting power.
