Wierd color

In my driver side tail light, there is a yellow/orange film growing over EVERYTHING... it seems almost impossible to clean...

Any advice (w/out gettin it soakin wet? I have vinyl light covers n they might not stick for longer...)

It's the plague dude ... I'd suggest calling HazMat, j/k! ;) Is it like mold or something? Got a pic?
