Why do I hate my 90 pro lx so much ?

Generally I wouldn't post something like this but I'm fed up with my repair manuel and the car. Today I went to change the tranny fluid (5sp) normally no big deal in any other car, but in this car I have no idea were to add oil at because my fricken manuel says to fill from the tiny hole just above the senser on the front side of the tranny (its a 10mm bolt) well that hole didn't work so I tried the bolt that was the same size as the drain plug bolt and I thought more then 3 quarts of fluid came out of the tranny but only 1 1/2 went back in ? So now I'm stuck. Also the fricken sun of a Bi#@ fuel filter is in the worst spot in the planet I spent an hour on it even after reading gro's post on how to do it and still couldn't. Whatever ? Please help I'm not sure if my tranny has enough fluid in it or not or even if I added it to the right spot ?

Help ! thanks

Well like a dumbass I put some oil in already in the bolt thats the same size as the drain plug. I think its o.k. ? As for the fule filter what a hoe ass piece of crap is there some special tool ? or what ? I'm really pissed. Anyone know how much fluid the tranny should have in it ? ( more then 1 1/2 quarts right ? )

another option would be to get a bolt the size of the hole and plug it while youre working.

a stubby #2 phillips screw driver works well for this too...done it many times.

Thanks guys I got the car going dropped in some fluid it feels great now ! However I gave up on the fuel filter, oh well. When I was down ther I had discovered some wierd leak I can't tell were its from because the engine is just so damn dirty but it looks like its comming from the line that leads into the power steering unit ? oh well Later days and better lays car runs fine no smoke no white crap no nothen just a good little car.
