I need to know what type of car mine is it is a 93 Protege but no markings for DX or LX. I am assuming it is DX since it has rear drum brakes and its a 4 door. Anyways didn't know is the code on the vin separated anything as far as engine size, model, etc. THANX

Look at "Model info" specificaly for the VIN decoding. But while you're at it, you seem to be interested in learning more about these cars so why not spend some time looking through the whole thing.
