Trick ?
Hey guys,
I read this at the Protegetech.com website: Tricks by OJ by oj72@webtv.net Just one thing I'd like to mention... regarding needing a fuel pressure regulator for an intake and exhaust mod.On 90 - 94 Protege'/323 you can disconnect the vacuum hose at the rail fuel pressure regulator. At idle (intake vacuum high) the regulator provides 30 - 40 psi. At high rpm (vacuum low), it regulates 37 - 45 psi. With the hose disconnected you will "trick" the regulator into supplying the 37 - 45 psi all the time. Just be sure to plug the vacuum hose and don't forget to reconnect it when it's time to test for emissions. My question is if anyone has done that and if it makes any difference or not.... feedback will be appreciated greatly.... thanks in advance, -=Identity_X=- |
well, i'd like to give it a try, but i dont know what i'm supposed to disconnect
