Tokico struts
I want to know if I must install tokico struts with my sprint springs 2" drop ?
|
Well, you don't HAVE to install any struts at all, but with that drop and your car being as old as it is, it's a very good idea. You also don't have to go with Tokico struts, but the ZX2 struts are very nice from what I hear. I also heard that the ZX2 struts won't hold up as well with a large drop, so the Tokico blues may be a better choice.
General rule of thumb is anything 2" or over, you'll want some sort of aftermarket struts. Anything above that should be ok, but it's an old car and it's good chance the struts are shot in the first place. Hope this helps! |
the blues struts cost 175$ CAN aproximatly $100 US.
cause I live in quebec and it's not easy to found it here. |
Then go with the Tokico ZX2, they will still last a while, and they're cheap.
|
OK, and they fit perfect on the car or I must make a modification on it ?
