anyone ever done it? Any tricks ?

its not realy hard.
its easier to do it from under the car.

its not hard.... there ate only two or three bolts holding it in, i dont remember. you might want to take a bit of trany fluid out.....i dunno if it will overflow, i changed the started wile my motor is out today.

there is no reason to drain any transmission fluid, when changing your starter.
