Repair for radiator crack?/CV joints

Got a 92 protege dx
Hey, After a few hours of driving the other day I smelt what hit me as radiator fluid, got home, temp guage is maxed out on hot, and The car is smoking.

Next morning I went to check on it, radiator is bonedry, and theres about a 4 inch hairline crack about 2 inches right of the filler cap.

I put a little water in, started it right up, and filled it up the rest of the way, and it's been running fine for about a week, using odds and ends to hold the water in, works fine as long as the water doesnt get hot enough to boil out the crack on thetop.

I've got a 300 mile trip to make tomorrow, and today I drove about an hour on the freeway, when I got home I was leaking again, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a product to patch up the plastic?

I'm within walking distance of walmart and autozone, thank god :D

Also, whenever driving, when you are at a stop, and your wheels are turned, and you accelerate, you can hear several loud pops. I'm pretty sure this is just the CV joints, unfortunately I've got no idea on what I would be looking for to buy them, or how to replace them, anyone that can offer some assistance?

I had the same problem with my car, the radiator was cracked in the same spot yours was. it cracked on the plastic top part. of the radiator. Only thing is if you get another radiator with that plastic top part, it is going to crack again. what I did was get a all metal radiator. they are pretty hard to find but i ordered mine from radiatorexpress.com get them while supplies last because they stopped making them. I have not had any problem at all with radiator since. P.S. this is the third radiator on my car.....
