Protege firing order

Hello Everyone,

I was changing my spark plugs and wires and did a rookie mistake--I think I plugged the wires into the wrong place on the distributor. Does anyone know the correct order?

I have a 1992 Protege DX with the 1.8L SOHC

Cheers,

Steve

If you have one of those Haynes Protege books, it will tell you, or should, if not, you can get them at advanced, or autozone.

those things are the bst to have.

but as far as that goes, im not gonna suggset anything b/c that confuses me,

good luck

Kenneth

Thanks for the reply...I do have the Haynes manual, but the darn thing is cryptic (confuses me too). It suggests the plug toward the front of the vehicle is the first to fire, but then doesn't clearly show the firing order with respect to the distributor.

The firing order is 1,3,4,2--according to the manual.

Does anyone have the firing order and diagram from a different manual?

Steve
