Problems with installing new CD deck.
 

Hi, everyone:

I just installed a new CD deck for my 92 protege SE, I assumed all the wiring were done corrrectly. But here is the problem, I can only turn ON the new CD deck when the panel light is OFF. If I turn ON the panel light, the CD deck would shut off automatically by itself. Anybody has any idea of what's going on? Thank you very much.

Here is a little update of my problem.

I remember when I used to turn on the panel light, some buttons on the factory cassette deck are being turned on too, even when the car ignition is off. I think maybe my new CD deck doesn’t like that, maybe that’s why it shuts off whenever I turn on the panel light. If this is the problem, anyone knows how to get around with it?
