from ODB1 to ODB2

What would it take to turn an ODB1 MX3 into an ODB2 car? I have both ECUs wiring diagrams. The point of me doing this is to be able to use the 94 and up mass sensor.
1. What else would it take to make this possible besides just changing to the 94 ECU?
2. Will I have to change the distributor and the injectors too?
3. Should I just rob all the sensors from the 94 and up engine?

I don't think it's even possible to turn an OBDI car into an OBDII car. Lots more sensors with OBDII. Not worth it, IMHO.

I like the Quad 4 swap more than the looks :) performance > looks. :)

Those quad fours were strong engines too bad they had so many problems.

I know of the Quads issues. My friend had a LO Quad 4 in his Grand AM SE. It threw a bearing with ~23**** km on it. I was expecting the head gasket to go :D

I've worked on many of them what a nightmare. 8 out of 10 times working on those things it was either the headgasket or a crack between the valve seats. 500$ for a rebuilt head, plus 300 more if your old head is fucked beyond repair, plus many hours labour to R&R. Not fun.

Good concept... if only GM solved these few issues... it wouldn't have the bad rep that it currently has.

Bluetooth ODB2 scanner

Hi, folks. I am interested in picking up an ODB2 Scanner, and looking for recommendations. Lemur Monitors have their BlueDriver which appears to be a great scanner for the price point (right at $100), which includes live data, repair reports, mode 6(?), smog data, and of course CEL data, but it doesn't have Advanced Diagnostics yet, ABS, Transmission, airbag), but they are open to developing the adv. diags per customer demands. Does anyone have recommendations, or would you be interesting in hitting up the Lemur monitors FB page to request Mazda Adv. Diags?
Here is the link for BlueDriver bluetooth ODB2 scanner. They closely monitor requests, (update their priorities once a week) so the more people who request the advance diags, the higher on their priorities it will go.
