New Tires...

I'm looking at getting some new sneaks for my car. I've narrowed it down to the Yokahama Avid H4S and the BF Goodrich Traction T/A H. Any opinions???

I like the Dunlop SP Sport A2 tires. Had mine for a while now, and they drive great. Not noisy even when worn, reasonably stiff sidewall, good grip, good wear, pretty cheap (52 a tire from Tire Rack).

I uses the Toyo Proxes T1-s for summer and autox. I used around 75% of the rubber for every day driving and Autox last year. It would be a good one to use for day to day driving.

I have the Toyo Proxes 4 on my car, work much better than my stockers did.

Falken Azenis

I've had good results with the Avid T4. The H4 used to be the same tread but stickier compound, I think. They're quiet, stick Ok and last reasonably. Are pretty good in snow.

For dry traction summer tire, I agree the Azenis are a good way to go. The new versions will be (maybe already are) available in the correct stock size, too. They are a bit noisy, which may not be a big deal in our cars.
