Mod Ideas
 

If you have some original, non-costly mod ideas for the 1st Gen interior contact me on AIM. I want to create a list of mods that you can do to your protege interior and put it online. Anybody with a cheap(meaning not like $500), practical, and useful idea please contribute. I'm looking for ideas on things people have never thought about before. The basic mods like carpet change, seat covers, and other replacement things will be covered but the original ideas are what I really want to feature. Thanks,

how's this, pretty simple and only $4

It's only $4, but it's pain in the ass.........you have to cut the instrument cluster and then glue it back together..........oh man I remember how pissed off I was when I did it........
If you don't mind cutting and using glue to put back your cluster than yeah......it is a pretty good mod for only $4, or whatever you get the paint for:bt:

It wasn't all that hard, just very time consuming, took me about 2 hours. But it's still about a $4 mod :D

BTW, you could have used silicone to seal it back up, that way it would be MUCH easier to remove in the future if needed.

I did this a few months ago, but I think I did use silicone....
I am pretty sure it wasn't super glue :D
