maybe a bad ground?

alright so i went to the JY to get some parts, two which included the rear defroster switch because i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt work, fuse was ok and so were the wires. i also got the emergency switch too because it wouldnt light up all the way. i got both parts and their both doing the exact same thing. the only thing i can think of is bad ground, any other ideas?

do you have a voltmeter?

if you do, then check and see if the switches are ok, then, check the power at the back of the emergency flasher and see if it is getting enough power.

and for the back window, check and see if you are getting power at the back window, and if you are, then that might mean that the wires going across the back of your window are bad.

or as you said, it could be a bad ground. get a jumper wire and provide both things with good grounds and see if it helps at all.

good luck!

well i checked the ground it that wasnt it, at least i think that was the ground. only one connected to the rear defroster bunch. i know that their getting power because when i turn on my emergency lights, the thing is bright as hell when it flashes. but its very dim when i turn on normal lights. maybe i could try something with the dimmer switch.
