OK.... from what I have read in other posts the KL is basicaly a bolt in with stuff like the tranny and other stuff. SO..... I was wondering has anybody here actually tried putting it in by themself??? If so how was it/would it be to do by yourself??

if yer referring to the KLZE, then yes, people have done it.. give everyone more than 4 hours to respond, tho.. we don't spend 24 hours online, we only duck on to chat when we're not out driving or kickass proteges or making honda owners cry. btw, have you tried searching the board for that info? it's likely there

I know people have had this done but can one do it himself without much difficulty??? Thats my question and sorry if I seem pushy but I have <40hrs to make up my mind on the purchase of a KLZE for 400$$!!! So I guess I am a little ancy at the momment!!!!!

Talking to a friend who put a K8 in a 323 [he had a MX-3 GS parts car and some extra time], he recommended to swap the entire subframe over from the MX-3 to the 323/protege. He swapped the mounts, crossmembers, hubs, front suspension, wiring, sensors, tranny, clutch/fw, etc and said he wished he'd swapped the subframe over, as it would have made things easier. So basically, find a MX-3 GS parts car [there are several on www.mx-3.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi ] and replace the different stuff under your hood with the MX-3 GS stuff.

Oh yeah, KLZE's are fun...running with Z28's is just cool
