my buddy has a 96 escort 1.9 and he wants to convert it into a 5 speed, will all 1st gen parts bolt in including tranny?

If I recall correctly, the 1.9 SOHC SEFI motor from the escort will not bolt up to any of our parts. If you meant 1.8 DOHC then yes the 1st gen Mazda parts will bolt in.
