Ignition Control Unit Module
Hi,
I would like to know I have a 1993 Mazda Protege and this is the 3rd Ignition Control Unit Module I've put in. Would there be a reason why they keep breaking down. I have not tried a new one, maybe that is the problem put the last one I tested came from a working Mazda. I was able to start the car for about 15-20 minutes then it just went dead again. Each time I changed that piece the car started once for 2 days it work then again it broke down. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated Thanks |
ignition control unit module?? do you mean distributor or coil? Have you had your alternator inspected for proper output? Where are you buying these "modules" from? Are they new OEM pieces or junkyard pieces or autozone refurbs?

this thread is from 2005. Chances are you won't get a response from the thread starter.
Check your plugs, plug gaps, wires and distributor cap to make sure nothing is burned up or damaged. |
