got myself another protege!!!!!

yep, after 2 weeks of havin no car an being stuck at home and bouncing off the walls because i couldent drive i found another one ,

a white 92 dx 5spd for 800 cdn,, an its in amasing shape for the price.. not a spot of rust on it cept a spot on the front lip of the hood about the size of a loonie , no biggie.. also she is stripped down to the bare metal o nthe rear drivers side door in a spot and another spot on the trunk.. so i'll jus get soem primer an paint an that'll be fixed...

the major problem is with the roof o nthe interior... the people who had it before me were chain smokers to the max:mad: ..yep the roof is brown instead of blue ... so the smoke is in all of the apolstry(sp?).. anybody know any home remedies to egt rid of this? i dont really wanan have to spend a buncha money to get ti professionally cleaned.. because i just started a new job and am between pay peroids an wont get paid til the pay after the one im on so 3 weeks.. i'll post pics as soon as i can.

awesome car for 800$can

I paid 500$ for a 323 1991 at the begenning of the summer.... It now have 270 000km and its running great! I like it a lot :)

By the way how much milleage does it have on engine/car ??

The best to do with roof is to buy one at a junkyard, it would cost you something near to nothing :)

have fun with your new car :D

Morphector August-12th-2003 03:42 PM

look at the roof light, there seems to be resin on it :D

jporky99 August-12th-2003 04:05 PM

umm, based on the interior of your car... i dunno if it was supposed to be blue. Your seats are a brown color, so it really wouldnt make sense for Mazda to put a blue ceiling in.

As for your spelling... i believe it is "upholstery."

As for your odor problem... one word... Febreeze!

I paid 500 for my 1991 323 also , you can't kill that little car even with a gun ... shoot it and it would still RUN .. pun intended
