fluctuating ide

My ide on my pro is flucuating, not bad but it will go from 800 to 100 rpm and then back down to 500 then back up. does anybody what is causing it and how i can fix it?

mine is doing the same. I replaced my pvc valve but still the same. Im thinking its a small hole or crack in the intake tube. or a vacuum leak.:(
