Is there a stamp on the block of the GTX/GTR to know which is wich. Or what do i look for in a diff so i know if im getting a GTX or a GTR.

you can tell by the turbo you get with the engine, if you get a vj-20 you gotta gtx.

but did not the GTX come with vj-22 sometimes or something. Some guy got his GTX here with a 22 on it. But it was gtx Internals and not GTR internals.

from my observation, some came with the VJ-22 also. The GTR came with the VJ-23. If anybody knows otherwise, please say so :)

I thought that the gt-x came with the 1.6l and the gtr came with the 1.8l ....

noooooooooooooooooooooooo . Both are BP engines, 1.8L DOHC.

There is a B6T, however...

so over all i have to look at the turbo and see if its a VJ-23
