Question Colors and their names?

I would like to compile a list of colors that the Proteges were produced in for each year, and their names; particularly for 1st gen years.

The list I have so far is only for 1990, which I found in a brochure someone had scanned and put up on a webpage. They are: Clear White / Niagara Silver / Current Blue / Harbor Blue / Blaze Red / Graceful Red / Brilliant Black.

I'm hypothesizing that Niagara Silver is actually what I consider Charcoal; that the Harbor Blue is the darker of the two; and that the Graceful Red is the Burgundy-like color.

Can anyone look in other years' brochures and send me or post here the color names that were available? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Dean

Well, I don't know about the other colors, but you're right about Harbor Blue. It is the darker of the two blues. I know this for a fact because it is the color of my 91.

I personally think that the Harbor Blue is the best color for the older proteges.............and I am not saying that because my pro is Harbor Blue

well on the door it says body color code 5D...it isn't really a purple, but more of a dark blue, and then a light blue when the light hits it

Metallic Flake Red Mazda 3

My 04 Mazda 3 is metallic red flake and should be velocity red with the color code 27A, but is the touch up paint with that code going to have the metallic flakes in it?
