Cleaning Throttle Body

Hey all,
I've decided to clean my throttle body to hopefully help my hesitation problem. I already pulled off the t.b. from the manifold, and was wondering what i should use to clean it and what all i should do while i have it off.
thx,

if your getting a hesitation problem it could be the throttle body you can clean it with some carberator cleaner i believe about 90% sure of that sorry i can't spell also it might be that your vaf is going it happened to me about 2 weeks ago i kept getting this hesitation and i tried to check all vacuum lines and everything else i went to my local sheap yard and got a new (used ) rx-7 air flow meter for 40 bucks just an idea for you hope this helps

already tried a new (used) VAF that i bought from groharlem and it's still there, and no vacuum leaks anywhere. a friend said a cloged exhaust could cause the hesiation, anyone wanna chime in on that one before i tear down the exhaust???

I've also heard that the flex pipe could cause hesitation
