Change engine...
 

I was reading in other thread that in the first gen of Proteges you can change the front seats with a MX-3 seats and in other place I read that the MX-3 and the first gen of Pros youses the same platform.

Do someone knows if it's easy to change the engine of the pro with a MX-3 V6 engine? What do you think?

I have an other question; my pro is a '91, 1.8L DOHC manual transmition and the engine runs smooth between 1000 to 5500 rpm, between 5500 to 6500 it does'nt run smooth and it feels like looses power and it's hard to go to that high rpm, do someone knows way? thanks...

I don't know what's wrong with your car, but, I wouldn't put in the V6 from the MX-3, it's also only 1.8L -- if you wanted to put in a V6, put in one from the Ford Probe or Mazda MX-6. Otherwise I'd just turbo the 1.8L DOHC, it's a good motor.

from what it seems you have some fuel problems in that high rpm range

my 91 loves to go to red line...in fact its tooooo easy to do it..from about 4500 to 6700 is the best power in it
