Can i Do this?

Can i take the a/c crap out of a junk pro and put them in my car with not to much trouble? Is my car wired for a/c even tho it didnt have it?

I only ask b/c i am not looking forward to driving a black car in the summer in iowa. :(

lol, hey bryan, what's been up man? hmmm, as far as i know all you'd probably need is the a/c hardaware... as far as i know all of the cars come with the wiring stuff there for the a/c just (in your case) without the hardware. i think   lol, good luck

Well, you'll need the a/c hard lines, the condenser (in front of the radiator), and compressor pump. From the inside of the car, I'm not sure if there is a smaller, condenser-like assembly that will need to be taken out (of junk car). You'll need to take out the A/C switch from the console and put it in your car. That's all I can think of.

It's going to be a bitch running those hardlines in the cabin. Have fun. :) :bt: heh

see that's what all i was thinking was needed.... you'll want to keep the lines free of any dirt or grease or anything like that, that will ruin the system in a heart beat.... ummm, when you go to fill it with freon or 134a let me know cause i know of another way that i refilled mine that is environmentally safe and a guy i know did it and the thermostat reading was 44 degrees F at the vent, wooohooo, can we say cold
