normally the BP09 ecu is the one that you have in yor car if your car is and original DOHC LX from 90-94 one of the difference and the bigger is that the redline should be 7,500 RPM and the SOHC is 5,900 apx, also you cand find this ecu in the 92up Escort GT

BP10 Automatic
BP09 5 spd

BP10 works in 5 spd cars, but BP09 will not fit auto. The tranny connector is missing in the BP09.

When looking in Jyards it is clearly labeled in bold letters on the outside of the car.

You can get them used for $100 to $150 in wreckers. At the PicknPull are much cheaper, around $50.00.

so if you have an lx you have that ecu already?

then redline is 7000rpm or are you trying to say that fuel cut off is at 7500rpm

I just bought two ECU's this year, one was for my SOHC and the other was a DOHC for when i do a BP swap, but they only cost me 25 a piece at a local import wrecker.

more specific!

I can of understood what you are trying to say, rephrase a little what you are trying to do. So, you have a BP10 in your car which means it is automatic, so what else?
