Blinkers keep coming on???

When i turn the steering wheel halfway one way the blinker for the way i'm turning comes on for a second and then clicks and doesnt come back on. I have no idea why it does it either?

PS It only does it sometimes one day, and then everytime the next day. LIke it picks what it wants to do!!!

I had this problem before, the steering wheel got pushed to far to the dash. get a flat head screwdriver and pry the back of the steering wheel toward you, but be carful not to break the plastic enclosure behind the steeringwheel. Thats how i fixed mine, and i haven't had any problems since.

well if you already have your steering wheel turned half way...aren't you turning? I know this wouldn't apply when in a parking lot and that sort of thing....but....shouldn't you have your turn signal on anyway? LOL

yeah that would be neat if you could change lanes, and turn, with your blinkler automaticly coming on. you wouldn't get a ticket for no turn signal thats fo sure.

Tx, where you live in Texas? .....I am near houston...and I learned to drive in that crazy city.....I honestly believe that MANY houstonians believe that the BLINKER is optional equipment on their cars....that or the first mod they do to their cars is rip the damn thing off and throw it away!! lol
