bad electrical problems..really bad...

alright guys heres my problem.. its hard to explain so bear with me ...
ok.. when i put my foot on the brakes EVERY light in the car turns on.. dome light, side markers, tail lights.. even the dash lights up as if my head lights were on... but thats not the worst of it..
also when i turn on my headlights my brake ligths are ALWAYS on .. as long as my headligths are on.. also.. ive got no reverse ligths as well.. ive checked bulbs an they are fine.. also.. i think my fuel pump may not be pumping correctly due to this.. i know they dont sound related..an its probally a seperate problem all togeather.. but i can hope they are coinnected so i got less work to do . but the pump will randomly cut out or stop pumping when im goin down the road so the car will bog right down.. then all of a sudden the RPMs will sky rocket when it kicks in again.. usually to get it pumping again i have to hammer the gas to the floor.

anybody got any thoughts or suggestions as to what this may be..

whoa...that's freaky stuff...I'd like to see that :D

How long has the car been like that? Did it just start doing it, or has it been like that since you got it? If it's always been like that, I'd say someone was messing around with the wiring and foiled something up.

Your fuel pump is controlled by a relay right next to the ECU. When your ECU turns on, your ECU closes the circuit from the ignition switch to the fuel pump. There's nothing (from what I could tell) else on the power circuit of the fuel pump other than the relay...so i don't think it's related to the other electrical problem.

When you say the brake light comes on, does that include the third brake light(center)?

this is going to sound stipud but start looking for bare wires. if it just happened i would say you have a short or crossed circuit. begin next to the ECU like what loginology said.
thing is i just noticed it last night when semtex was over... for all i know it coulda been like this sience before igot the car

I would check to see that you have the right light bulbs in the rear, and that they are in the right way. I think you might be able to put them in upside down, so that the wrong filament will light up (there is both the brake light and the regular, more dim, light, in the same bulb).

UPDATE!!!.. i figured it out.. no more insane electrical problems.. apparently.. it was one of the tail light bulbs because one of them wasa double filiment(sp?) instead of a single.. hard ot belive somthing so small an stupid could cause all of that
